Standout Feature
The family-friendly artistic and cultural events,
including most notably Frosty Day and the Frosty Parade, an annual wintertime celebration of the famous holiday song, "Frosty the Snowman", which purportedly takes place in Armonk (one of the song's lyricists was a decades-long Armonk resident).
Armonk is an unincorporated community (or "hamlet" in local parlance) and Census Designated Place located in the lower Hudson Valley of New York State within Westchester County in the Town of North Castle. The hamlet is part of the Byram Hills Central School District. Commuter rail access to New York City is available from Valhalla Station and North White Plains Station in nearby Valhalla and White Plains, respectively.
Armonk is surrounded by rolling hills and exudes nature. Although known by many for housing the corporate headquarters of IBM, Armonk's lack of a commuter train station helps maintain the hamlet's bucolic charm. Residents especially love the top-notch public schools and walkable business district lined with boutique shops.
